Custom Error Pages in Shared Website Hosting
The personalized error pages function is available with every shared website hosting plan we offer and you will be able to swap all generic pages with your own with no more than several clicks from your Hepsia hosting Control Panel. You shall have to produce the actual files and to upload them to your account, and then to set them for a particular domain or subdomain via the Hosted Domains section of the Hepsia CP. You can easily do this for each website hosted inside the account separately, so that each group of custom made pages shall have identical design as the Internet site it's part of. If necessary, you could always revert back to a default page from our system or to a default Apache server page. One other way to set custom error pages is to create an .htaccess file inside the domain/subdomain root folder and to include a few lines in it. If you have never done this before, you can simply copy the necessary code from our Help article on this subject.
Custom Error Pages in Semi-dedicated Servers
Our Linux semi-dedicated plans support tailor-made error pages, so you will be able to use this feature for every single domain or subdomain hosted inside your account. All it takes to do this is to navigate to the Hosted Domains section of the Hepsia Control Panel, to click on the Edit button linked to the particular domain/subdomain and to type in the link to the custom-made file. You could do this separately for each and every error type. You shall be able to switch back to a default error page anytime if needed and the change will take effect right away. Another way to get the same result is to set an .htaccess file inside the domain or subdomain folder of the website that you would like to modify and to enter a couple of lines of program code in it. If you'd like to try this method, you may copy and paste the needed code from our Knowledge Base article on custom error pages, so you will not need any coding skills or prior experience.
